Ballads of the Book directed by Claire McCluskey, Margaret Shankland and Julie McCrone, 
is a documentary following the creation of an innovative and critically-acclaimed album of the same name, curated by Roddy Woomble. 

It features collaborations between Scottish musicians and Scottish writers, including Ian Rankin, A.L Kennedy, Sons & Daughters, King Creosote, James Yorkston, Vashti Bunyan, Malcolm Middleton, Rodge Glass, Aidan Moffat, Alan Bissett, Edwin Morgan and Alasdair Gray. 

It was nominated in the Best New Work and Best Director categories in the Scottish New Talent Bafta Awards.

JUST ANNOUNCED: The film will be introduced by the directors who will also do a Q&A after the film with contributor to the project Hal Duncan
